Families and school staff celebrated the artistic efforts of our first graders during this year’s art shows. “At Success Academy, the arts are not simply held in high regard and studied rigorously; they are showcased proudly for all to see,” said Holly Relyea, an art teacher at Success Academy Harlem 4. During the art shows, hundreds of art pieces were on display, including portraits of community members inspired by Vincent van Gogh, collages with geometric shapes, symmetrical prints, and other works.
